plot Unicorns are known to be myth in the eyes of man, the things of legend. Not real, only alive in a child's inexperienced mind. This isn't the case however, just a lie. They aren't a myth, but rather, hiding from us until the day humans no longer inhabit the earth. In the eyes man, a Unicorn is only a tool of war and profit. Zerkzies their king however let the destruction slip by for as long as he could. One day however, in the time of the Middle Ages, the king's deputy Cayiton was brutally murdered for only his glorious horn. Outraged and severely saddened by the murder of his friend, Zerkzies ordered them to stay hidden from the destructive Uprights.
Zerkzies also ordered the horses to follow them into hiding. The Equines, cousins and decedents of the Unicorns however are ruled by the stubborn and fiery tempered queen Tyrina. She refused to run from men and their kind because of one mistake. Zerkzies was shocked at his lover's refusal. Tyrina hadn't let him take revenge on the foolish human, and was now disobeying his orders. The black stag felt outraged and betrayed. Deviously, the king tricked Tyrina into drinking from the Lake of Immortality. Thusly, when he emerged from hiding, she would still be living and he could seek proper vengeance.
The crimson mare stayed with her kind, until the day man died. She knew Zerkzies would return now. The queen sent a message to her people of her city, waiting for her ex-lover's appearance. It has been nearly 2,000 years sense the once love-struck pair has faced the other. The time of man is over, in the ruins of New York they will meet once more. And battle between the Equines and Unicorns will rage on. A Vendetta to effect all those who are left to walk the land now free of man's cruel grip.
